At SEN Unity, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore, play, learn and make lasting memories. Throughout our FUEL and HAF holiday programmes, children and young people have enjoyed a wide range of exciting, inclusive and accessible activities designed to build confidence, develop new skills and encourage friendships.

We are delighted to share that our Go! London Project continues to make excellent progress, engaging an increasing number of children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other additional needs across Richmond, Wandsworth, and Hounslow.

As part of Roehampton Community Week 2026, SEN Unity brought together ten children and young people aged 5–16 from the Roehampton community for a truly memorable intergenerational evening at Lyle House Care Home. After delivering a sports session at Roehampton University and walking together to the care home, the group was warmly welcomed by residents and staff and treated to a special screening of Disney’s Partly Cloudy in the home’s bespoke cinema room, complete with popcorn, crisps and juice.

Today marked the final session of our Walking Learning Bus project at Cambrian Community Centre, where children and families enjoyed exploring the wonderful natural environment of Richmond Park through active learning, outdoor play and discovery activities.

We were honoured to welcome Munira Wilson MP to our Chair Aerobics session at the All-in-One Hub, Twickenham United Reformed Church, supporting homeless and vulnerable adults across Richmond and the surrounding areas. Her visit was a meaningful recognition of the importance of inclusive wellbeing activities within community support services.

We are thrilled to announce that Inspire Hounslow is officially funding a brand-new SEN Unity initiative! This specialised pilot programme will provide 100% FREE group tutoring in GCSE Science and Mathematics. 

Who is eligible?

• Students in Year 10 and Year 11
• Must reside within the London Borough of Hounslow
• Young Carers living in the borough are highly encouraged to join

Through the Challenge and Innovation Fund, Richmond upon Thames, and in partnership with SPEAR, we are proud to support local residents with accessible and inclusive activities designed to enhance overall well-being.

We proudly completed the Brighter Living project at Maresa Club House, marking the occasion with a celebration of older residents who took part in our tailored active sessions promoting health, confidence, and wellbeing.

Our Game On for Peace Summer Holiday Camp came to a very emotional and special close. Over the past four amazing days, we’ve built friendships, made memories, and discovered the power of nature, play, and understanding.

From camping adventures in Richmond Park to staying active and connected in the outdoors, our group found so many ways to release stress, recharge away from the busy town, and reflect on what really matters.

We’re thrilled to share that Week 1 of our Roehampton HAF and Richmond FUEL Summer Camps kicked off with great energy, laughter, and learning!

Our young participants have been enjoying outdoor adventures, inclusive sports, and engaging activities that help them explore how their bodies use the food they eat to stay strong, active, and healthy.
