Today marked the final session of our Walking Learning Bus project at Cambrian Community Centre, where children and families enjoyed exploring the wonderful natural environment of Richmond Park through active learning, outdoor play and discovery activities.

Thanks to the support of the Walking and Cycling Grants London, the project has been a tremendous success. Over the course of the programme, we engaged 84 children, 12 adults and 4 volunteers, providing opportunities for participants to connect with nature, improve their physical wellbeing, develop confidence and build positive social relationships.

The Walking Learning Bus encouraged children and families to walk, explore and learn together while discovering the wildlife, history and green spaces within Richmond Park. It was inspiring to see participants grow in confidence, make new friendships and develop a greater appreciation for the outdoors.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Walking and Cycling Grants London, our volunteers, partner organisations, staff and all the families who took part. Your support and enthusiasm made this project possible and helped create many positive memories and experiences for everyone involved.

We look forward to building on this success and continuing to provide opportunities that encourage active lifestyles, outdoor learning and community connection.
