Week 2: Friendship, Fun & Play the Old-Fashioned Way
HAF & FUEL Week 2 was all about real connection — more experiences, memories, and friendships for our participants. No screens, no electronic games — just traditional outdoor play, singing games, and learning walks at Richmond Park and Roehampton University. Four hours each day spent sharing, learning, and building friendships the old-fashioned way.

We are thrilled to welcome two new members to the SEN Unity family—our therapy pets, Miss Gigi and Miss Mollie! These lovable companions are currently undergoing training to engage with our SEND participants and elderly athletes, bringing joy and encouragement to our sessions.

Golden Active Programme Brings Adapted Activities to Sheltered HousingAssociations
We are excited to announce the launch of the Golden Active Programme, funded by Westminster City Council Ward Budget, which supports adapted sports activities at three Sheltered Housing Associations. We have already begun sessions at Rayne House and Devonshire House, contributing to the well-being and quality of life of local residents.

With the support of The National Lottery Community Fund, our Girls Inclusive project has been making waves since May 2024, reaching six schools across Hounslow, Richmond, Westminster, and Wandsworth. So far, 63 girls have participated in exciting activities like pickleball, tennis, archery, multi-sports, boxing, and tandem riding in the park.

Exciting news for Roehampton Community Week 2024! Our support for the SEN Unity Active Life initiative will bring tailored activities and support to neurodivergent seniors at Grosse Way and Alton Sheltered Housing Association. This programme is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and social engagement of our senior community members, fostering an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive. Sessions are held every Thursday throughout July, August, and September.
We look forward to making a positive impact and celebrating community spirit together.
